# Template performance

> Compare sent, delivered, read, failed, and cost per delivered message for each WhatsApp template on the Templates tab of Insights.

The **Templates** tab on the [Insights](https://docs.gateway.connexease.com/dashboard/insights/overview.md) page shows performance metrics for each of your templates. The channel, **All Apps**, and **Date** filters at the top of the page apply to this tab. See [Page controls](https://docs.gateway.connexease.com/dashboard/insights/overview.md#page-controls).

## Filter templates

Use the controls above the table to narrow the list:

| Control | Description |
| :- | :- |
| **Search templates** | Search templates by name. |
| **All categories** | Show only templates in a category, such as Marketing, Utility, or Authentication. |
| **All statuses** | Show only templates with a given status, such as Approved. |
| **All languages** | Show only templates in a given language. |

## Template performance table

Each row is one template.

| Column | Description |
| :- | :- |
| **Template** | Template name, with the name of the app it belongs to underneath. |
| **Category** | Template category. |
| **Language** | Template language code, for example `en`, `en_US`, or `tr`. |
| **Status** | Template status, for example **Approved**. |
| **Sent** | Number of messages sent with this template in the period. |
| **Delivered** | Share of sent messages that were delivered. |
| **Read** | Share of delivered messages that were read. |
| **Cost / delivered** | Average cost per delivered message (USD). |
| **Failed** | Number of messages that failed. |

Templates with no messages sent in the period show **—** in the **Delivered**, **Read**, and **Cost / delivered** columns.
