Setup and usage
Requirements: macOS, Node.js 20+, Gemini CLI, and working Gemini CLI authentication. You also need your own Gateway account for panel operations. In Terminal, install the entire repository as an extension instead of the old documentation skill:
The extension loads the same local
gateway-account MCP server and five skills. Inside a Gemini session, use the commands below or make a request in natural language:
Examples — enter these in the Gemini CLI session:
Gemini CLI: command → example response
Enter these lines in the Gemini CLI session, not in the Terminal shell used for installation. Responses are illustrative; theconnect and panel examples apply when local sign-in and API access succeed.
gemini extensions update connexease-gateway-customer-mcp in a regular Terminal, use gemini extensions list to check it, and restart the Gemini session. In an open Gemini session, /extensions list shows installed extensions, /commands list shows available slash commands, and /quit exits the session. Gemini CLI installation and Google sign-in are separate from Gateway sign-in. The earlier UNSUPPORTED_CLIENT error relates to Google sign-in; the extension cannot resolve it by itself. Google’s Gemini CLI extension commands explain installation and updates. Live account testing through this repository has not yet been performed in Gemini.
